More losses are coming Conor McGregor's way as a judge ordered him to pay €1.5 million in legal costs concerning the civil assault case he lost to Nikita Hand. This is on top of the €250,000 that's already been ordered for him to pay in damages after a civil jury determined that he assaulted Hand in a Dublin hotel room back in 2018.
This spells huge losses for McGregor, who's already lost millions after his business partners cut ties with him in light of the verdict. Major supermarkets and stores ceased selling McGregor-related products after his major whiskey line, Proper No.12 Irish Whiskey, cut ties with him. Now, 'The Notorious' will be liable to pay even more money due to the court's verdict.
McGregor continues to plead innocence, firmly claiming that the intercourse between him and Hand was completely consensual. He plans to appeal the decision.

Former Conor McGregor rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov, shows full support to apparent "Convict Project"
In light of the Conor McGregor - Nikita Hand assault case verdict, a new crypto coin, '$CONVICT', was created by X account @convictmg (Convictmgregor). This is part of 'The Convict Project', dedicated to donating funds for legal fees of possible McGregor victims, should they choose to come forward.
It must be noted, however, that despite their profile and posts, no proof has been made that '$CONVICT' is a legitimate fund that will go to victims. Still, this didn't stop former McGregor rival Khabib Nurmagomedov from showing his support.
'The Eagle' reposted @convictmg's announcement of the fund with the caption:
"Good job guys , you have my full support, this guy deserve punishment"
There's no love lost between McGregor and Nurmagomedov, as they have had a bitter history together. The two took part in one of the most watched, documented, and controversial rivalries in MMA history at UFC 229, getting into pre-fight attacks, bizarre press conferences, and the now-notorious post-fight brawl.
